ABout the Home-visit

Your first homeschool home visit is a friendly check-in to ensure your child is receiving a quality education. The Authorised Person (AP) will want to see a simple educational plan outlining what you'll be teaching, some examples of your learning resources, and (if you're a returning homeschooler) samples of your child's work from the previous year. Having a designated and well-lit learning space is essential, as is being prepared to discuss your teaching approach, how you'll track your child's progress, and how you'll document their learning The AP is there to support you, so relax, be yourself, and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
