The Australian Curriculum is a national framework and guide for what students should learn across different subjects- from Foundation (kindergarten) to year 12. Every state in Australia must use the Australian Curriculum and integrate this into their own states education standard, however, each state may have its own unique requirements and expected learning timeframes for each year level/age group, or dedicated learning times.
Each state in Australia are responsibile for implementing and monitoring a students education and learning progress. For Homeschoolers, you must register your child for homeschooling according to the State that you reside in. Here is a list of each states Education Authority:
In NSW there is NESA, which stands for NSW Education Standards Authority.
In Victoria there is VCAA, which stands for The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority.
In Queensland there is QCAA, which stands for The Queensland and Assessment Authority.
In Western Australia there is SCSA, which stands for School Curriculum and Standards Authority.
In South Australia there is SACARA, which stands for South Australian Curriculum, Assesment and Reporting Authority.
In the Australian Capitol Territory (ACT) there is ACT Education Directorate.
In Northen Territory (NT) there is the NT Department of Education.
